Transparent Pricing

NDIS-aligned pricing.
No surprises.

All Yellowbird service rates are set at or below the NDIS Support Catalogue limits and are reviewed when the NDIS publishes updated pricing each financial year. We are transparent about what we charge so you can plan with confidence.

Current rates from the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits 2026–27 (effective 1 July 2026, Version 1.0). Rates are reviewed annually by the NDIS. All rates are in Australian dollars (AUD). Line items shown are indicative — your service agreement will confirm your specific rates.

Core Supports — Daily Life & Social/Community Participation

High Intensity & Intensive Complex Behaviour Supports

Higher rates apply when supporting participants with complex or high-intensity needs across both personal care and social/community activities. Worker qualifications and provider registration requirements differ for each category.

High Intensity Supports require workers trained in the specific high intensity practice area relevant to the participant's needs, as defined in Schedule 2 – Module 1 of the NDIS (Provider Registration and Practice Standards) Rules 2018.

Intensive and Complex Behaviour Supports additionally require the provider to be registered and assessed for Module 2A (Implementing Behaviour Support Plans), and the participant must have an interim or comprehensive Behaviour Support Plan in place. For plan-managed participants, a Module 2A–assessed provider is mandatory when restrictive practices are used.

Core Supports / Capacity Building — Transport

Everyday Access — Transport

Everyday Access is funded as a support service — not transport-only. Depending on the nature of the activity, it can be claimed from Core Supports, Capacity Building, or a dedicated NDIS Transport budget. Both hourly support time and travel kilometres are billable.

Which budget can pay for this? The kilometre rate is claimed against the same budget as the activity being supported. Participants may use any of the following depending on their plan:

Core — Daily Activities

02_051_0108_1_1

General Transport item — not subject to price limits; quoted per participant

Core — Social & Community

04_590_0125_6_1

Capacity Building

Activity Based Transport claimed alongside relevant Capacity Building support items

NDIS Transport Budget

Participants with a dedicated Transport funding line may claim General Transport here

How your booking time is billed

For all Everyday Access services, both travel time to and from your location and direct (face-to-face) support time are billed as part of the shift. The 2-hour minimum covers your total scheduled time.

You can choose one of two arrangements:

Travel included in your 2-hour booking

Travel time counts toward your 2-hour minimum. Example: 30 min travel to you + 30 min return = 1 hr travel, leaving 1 hr face-to-face support within your 2-hr block.

Travel billed in addition to your 2-hour booking

Your full 2 hours is face-to-face support time. Travel to and from your location is billed separately on top. Example: 30 min + 30 min travel billed in addition to your 2 hr face-to-face block.

The kilometre rate ($3.50/km WAV · $1.50/km standard) is billed separately on top of the hourly support rate in either arrangement. Discuss which option suits your plan best when booking.

Establishment Fee — Personal Care & Participation Supports

A one-time Establishment Fee covers the otherwise non-claimable administrative costs a provider faces when setting up a new service arrangement. It is claimable once per provider, per participant, where the agreed support meets all eligibility criteria.

Eligibility criteria

The fee applies where Yellowbird has agreed to supply a minimum of 20 hours per month for 3 or more consecutive months of either:

Disability Support

  • Daily Personal Activities — 0107
  • High Intensity Daily Personal Activities — 0104

Social & Community Participation

  • Participation in Community, Social and Civic Activities — 0125
  • Group and Centre Based Activities — 0136

Each provider may only claim this fee once per participant across all plans. Where a provider delivers services under multiple registration groups, only one Establishment Fee is claimable. Multiple providers may each claim their own Establishment Fee against the same plan provided each meets the requirements.
